Put a Spotify song
on an NFC tag

The mixtape, rebuilt. Paste the link below, tap your tag, and anyone who touches it hears the song.

💡 Want photos or a voice note on the same tag? Make a gift page first, then write that link — one tag, no rewriting.

Write only links you own or trust. Tags written here open the URL directly — never use this tool to mislead whoever taps next.

Getting the right link

  1. Open Spotify → find the song (or album / playlist).
  2. Tap Share → Copy Link.
  3. Paste it above — we'll validate it before writing.
  4. Android: tap your tag and you're done. iPhone: follow our 90-second iPhone guide.

Questions

Song, album or playlist — which link works?+

All three. In the Spotify app: Share → Copy Link. A song link (open.spotify.com/track/…) is the classic gift choice — one tap, one song.

Does the other person need Spotify installed?+

No — the link opens in their browser. Without a Spotify account they'll hear a 30-second preview; logged-in users get the full track.

How long can the link be?+

Up to 132 characters — every Spotify share link fits comfortably. Our writer checks the length before writing.

Can I change the song later?+

A plain tag can't be edited once written (unless you leave it unlocked — and rewritable means anyone can change it). With an tapboop gift, the tag points to your page and you can change the content anytime.

A song is nice. A song + your voice is better.

With a Voice Card you can attach the song and a three-minute message about why you picked it.
